Barbara aka AniMe is a hardcore DJ/producer famous all over the world. Her artistic career started in 2000 when, still very young, became part of one of the most representatives and respected labels: D-Boy Black Label. Right in this year she began to feel the desire to express her own vision of music, beginning the work of producer. Already much loved in Italy for her industrial / darkcore sound and her good technique in the mix, since 2001 had a big success playing in many clubs around Europe. In 2007 she became part of Traxtorm Records, the Italian label which boasts the highest concentration of brilliant producers hardcore. 2010 will be the year of AniMe debut with the first EP in Traxtorm Records: "Detonate". She showed everyone a new way of doing hardcore: sounds, vocals, mergers between grooves and elements of various music styles with strong influences from her past as industrial/darkcore producer. Detonate was a track that fitted perfectly between the “many” melodies of that moment and it obteined the 5° spot of the most famous Top 100 Hardcore. Her style became already inspiration for many international hardcore producers. In 2011 Barbara, in collaboration with the well known exponent of italian hardcore DJ Mad Dog, created "Hardcore Machine", track done on purpose to set the dancefloor on fire. With this burning bomb the duo dominated once again the Top 100, this time riding the 4° spot and also the official videoclip was an impressive success beating in a few months the views record of all the other hardcore videos. The Italian Queen of Hardcore boasts also other fabulous tunes like: Believe, Concentrate and the remix of Asskicked, famous tune of the Dutch DJ Re-Style, released on Masters of Hardcore. AniMe with her italian charism is now an undisputed power of "Hardcore Italia" movement and she represents the sound of her mighty crew in many countries like: Spain, France, Holland, England, Poland, Germany, Austria, Scotland, Swiss, Belgium, Russia, Luxemburg, Mexico, Chile and playing at the best Hardcore Festivals of the globe as: Thunderdome, Masters of Hardcore, Defqon.1, The Qontinent, Dominator, Q-Base, Hardcore4Life, Decibel and many more. In 2012 will be released the new AniMe EP and you can be sure that she will rock once again the worldwide dancefloors!!!
